KDDI Unveils 3.1 Inch OLED Display

Japanese telecommunication company KDDI is at it again with the showcasing of two 3.1 inch OLED display’s for Mobile phones from fellow Open Handset Alliance member Samsung as well as an unnamed Japanese manufacturer.

The Samsung 3.1 inch OLED display has a 800×480 resolution that should be enough to watch some DVD movies without it being a pixelated mess. The same thing goes for the unnamed Japanese Manufacturer OLED 3.1 inch display.

Samsung’s OLED display will launch on a KDDI device later next year and I’m hoping it’ll be a Android device.  KDDI has been very busy at CEATEC this year showing off a bunch of stuff including their Superman phone, I hope to see the same dedication put towards Android handsets!
