@TareX
Who said it was better than Google Earth? The post states, in his opinion, it may be better than "its bigger brother on the desktop," meaning Google Maps in a browser. Considering Google Maps on the desktop doesn't integrate (yet) with anything else like it does on Android, I'd say he's right.

StreetView can be useful if used with directions to somewhere you've never been before. That way you can see where you make a left turn with visual aids other than street names and also using the GPS to give you updated turn info. If you just look at the pictures for one address the most it can do for you is get you familiar with the surroundings of that area when you are looking for it later. It surely can't help you spy on anyone or check your house since its about 6months behind in some cases for the pictures you are looking at. Its a lot of flash but it has potential to make GPS a bit more clear for directions at the least.

Better than Google Earth? Sorry I don't think so, really....

Also, I understand how flashy Street view is, but not how useful it could ever be. I mean, I don't see why they are marketing it that.

Let me be the first to say, "Huh?"

Maps look better because of G1 hardware? That doesn't even make any sense for this blog. Don't let the rah! rah! take over guys. It is already bad enough.
