Opera Mini 4 rocks. has Bookmark manager, something that Chrome lite doesn't. in non-3G markets, it's all about the speed. has great touch response. i like the way the page moves faster than your sliding finger. the only improvements i can think of is tabs & wand passwords.
as for Firefox, didn't they say it wasn't coming? isn't it called Fennec & that it will not be ported to Android? i prefer Google Chrome over Firefox anyway, so i doubt Fennec would be any better than Chrome Lite.

Opera Mini is pretty decent on the G1. It's responsiveness to the touchscreen lags a bit though, especially in comparison to the built-in browser. It also often defaults to the mobile version of Web pages, which the built-in does not. I won't complain too much though - it's a beta and only been out a day or two.

The bigger question is, where's Firefox for G1?
