HTC Acquires One & Co. to Help Design Handsets

San Francisco-based One & Co. has been purchased by G1 makers HTC.  If you’ve never heard of the name One & Co., perhaps you know their work.  The HTC Touch Diamond is one of the more recent products to have their mark on it.  Before that, One & Co. has helped to design items like the Gateway NX100 series notebooks, the Nike Triax watch, and the Plantronics Versa.

As mentioned above, HTC and One & Co. have worked together, creating a revolutionary look to one the year’s hottest handsets, the Touch Diamond.    One & Co gets to keep their name as well as their existing client base which covers a large range of industries such as housewares, footware, electronics, and packaging. Maybe the next generation of Android devices might look a little sexier now that these two companies will be working closely together.

One & Co is excited to bring our lifestyle, user focused approach to HTC and we look forward to creating iconic, compelling products together.  Knowing about HTC’s cutting edge technology and proven track record of innovation, we are excited to collaborate with HTC as a global lifestyle brand.  Scott Croyle, One & Co.
