New Cupcake Detail Emerges – Live Folders

The folks over at MobileCrunch were playing around with the newly announced HTC Magic when they came aross a feature of Cupcake that hasn't been mentioned anywhere else that we know of.

Up until now, doing a long press on the home screen resulted in the ability to add or edit applications, shortcuts, widgets, and wallpaper options. Looks like soon enough we'll have the option for Live Folders.

Check out the picture below and you'll see options for adding all contacts, starred contacts, contacts with phone numbers, and YouTube favorites. The idea of self-updating homescreens is intriguing to us as it's just one more thing users don't have to worry about handling on their end.
