Grainy, Blurry First Image of Samsung’s First Android Handset?

blurry_samsung_androidIt doesn’t get much grainier – or intriguing.  Folks are getting antsy to see what Samsung and other members of the Open Handset Alliance have up their sleeves in terms of Android handsets.  Today, we get to see (possibly) the first image of the Samsung phone.

All we have to go by so far is a report from gsmhelpdesk.nl that says this picture shows the touchscreen device that’s coming from the handset maker.  The translated article tells us the phone has a capacitative touchscreen, just like the G1.

Specs listed in the article include:

  • 528 MHz processor
  • Quad Band (850, 900, 1800, 1900)
  • UMTS, HSDPA 7.2 and HSUPA 1.4
  • Alleged 3.2 or 5.0 MP camera
  • Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP

Stay tuned!  We’ll bring you more information as it’s gathered.
