Android Around the World: Qype Launches Radar v2 Android in London

qype_logoQype, the London-based site for user-generated reviews of restaurants, hotels and more, is bringing its Radar app to Android handsets.  This will allow users to post real time reactions and reviews.

With over one million reviews now at their fingertips, Radar v2 allows users to write their own while they are still at the restaurant, venue, etc.  In addition to that, there is support for uploading multiple photos.  Radar v2 provides users addresses, phone numbers, and relevant links to the places listed.

The growth of Twitter has paved the way for this kind of instant feedback, so it’s going to be fascinating to see how people start to use this new tool. – Qype CEO Stephen Taylor

The Android version is available now, with an iPhone version expected next week.
