Ophone to Beat iPhone to China?

lenovo-ophoneThe Lenovo-built Ophone is rumored to be landing in China about 1 month before Apple's iPhone does.  With virtually the same launch time, this summer could really help forecast the future for the two operating systems.  Just how much love does a half-eaten fruit get outside of the US?

Built with a custom China Mobile version of Android, the Ophone offers a 5 MP camera w/ autofocus and flash, video recording, microSD, and Bluetooth 2.0. It's not known how much onboard memory will be built into the handset.

We're still waiting for the rest of the specs as well as the price. Stay tuned!
