Talking Live Folders and GLSurfaceView

lf_deviceRomain Guy and Jack Palevich have dropped by the official Android Developers blog to talk new features in Android 1.5.  As part of the recent series of tips and tutorials, Romain Guy discusses what to expect with Live Folders, while Jack explains what GL SurfaceView means to developers.

Live Folders display all your contacts, bookmarks, email, playlists, feeds and more, in a “live” manner. Real-time updates keep your content fresh with up to the minute changes. GLSurfaceView, also a new feature to Android 1.5, makes OpenGL ES applications easier to write in a handful of ways.
