Rumor: i7500 to Be First Samsung Android Handset

samsung_i7500A few weeks back we reported that the first Samsung handset to run Android was going to be the S8000. Today we’re hearing that the i7500 is said to be the phone to get that honor.

With no official announcement made, German BamS is reporting that Samsung will launch its first Android handset, the i7500 with O2 Germany as the exclusive carrier. Looking through the rumored specs, they are not terribly different from the S800.

  • 3.2″ HVGA capacitive OLED display
  • 8 GB internal memory
  • Android 1.5
  • microSD memory card slot
  • 11.9 mm thick
  • 5MP camera w/ LED flash

  • UMTS/HSPA,Bluetooth,WiFi,GPS

Remember kids, until we hear otherwise, this is still rumor.
