Android Around the World: T-Mobile Netherlands Getting 1.5
After getting to be the first country in the world to carry an Android handset, it sure seems like the US is going to be the last to get the 1.5 update. T-Mobile’s G1 owners are growing increasingly more anxious for the cupcake features, but it feels like other countries keep cutting us in line!
T-Mobile Netherlands passed along a press release today indicating that “From early May, all new G1 from T-Mobile have the latest software. Existing T-Mobile G1 users get the update free of charge and sent via the mobile network.“Â While the press release does not call out Android 1.5 or Cupcake, it does refer to the features and enhancements forthcoming.
