Motorola to Offer Multiple Android Devices by Holidays
Somewhere in the middle of the less-than-impressive figures from Motorola’s Q1 earnings, Motorola’s CEO made it known that they will have multiple devices out this year running Android.Â Could we see the Calgary and IRONMAN appear over the next 5-6 months?
In the quarter at Mobile Devices, we implemented aggressive actions to reduce costs and also gained solid traction on improving operational effectiveness. Customer feedback on our smartphone roadmap remains very positive, and we plan to have differentiated Android-based devices in stores in time for the fourth-quarter holiday season. – Sanjay Jha, co-CEO of Motorola and CEO of Mobile Devices
Now the fun part is guessing if the word “devices” means more than simply smart phones.
