First Look at Donut and the “Oprah Moment” [VIDEO]

keynote_10There’s no doubt that Google I/O was the big news of the day for Android.  We got our first glimpse of “Donut” and the features that are coming down the road.  For the lucky developers and press in attendance, they walked away with a little something extra.  In case you haven’t heard, everyone who was at Google I/O 2009 received an HTC Magic or “Google Ion” phone.  Yeah, all 4,000 people!

We’ve taken the 10 videos from yesterday’s keynote address and loaded them onto Android Uploads.  The last two really deal with Android specifically, but the other 8 are definitely worth a watch.  Google, as a whole, has some seriously fascinating stuff lined up.

Romain Guy gives the first official look at what is coming from Android.  Codenamed ‘Donut’ the new features include Text to Speech, Android Search, and how handwriting gestures might come into play.

Vic Gundotra has his “Oprah Moment” and lets the audience members know they will all get an Android phone to take with them.

You can find all of the Google I/O videos over at Android Uploads as well as software previews and reviews!
