Archos Event Comes and Goes – Not the Droids We’re Looking For

archos_slideThose wanting the Archos event that was scheduled for today to have been Android related are going to be a tad disappointed.  As it turns out, a new tablet announced but rather than being full of Google, it’s a Windows based device.

Even though today did not see a direct Android announcement, things are looking good.  Another event is slated for September 15th which promises to be when we’ll get the goods.

The short clip below was captured by longtime AndroidGuys reader Nicolas (Charbax) who posted the video and more on ArchosFans.  We reached out to him to see what other details he could provide.  His opinion is that Archos is up to some great things but aren’t ready to disclose it yet.

Looking at the slide shown in the video, you can see what Archos plans to bring to the table.  HD Video, TV recording, Car navigation anyone?!
