T-Mobile USA/UK Handset Announcements

tmo_logoAccording to “people familiar with the matter,” T-Mobile USA is expected to formally announce the follow up to the T-Mobile G1 handset.  The phone, known as the myTouch3G has been a terribly kept secret in these circles and is alleged to go on sale this summer.  We’ve seen the box art and the leaked pictures so we are expecting an “any day now” release.

Across the pond, T-Mobile UK is already making announcements in regards to their second device.  A tweet from T-MobileOfficial earlier today stated Very excited! T-Mobile’s highly anticipated 2nd Android phone has been named the T-Mobile #G1Touch – more soon!” Which handset this will be is not exactly cut and dry.  Even though the HTC Magic seems like the logical phone to announce, the latest device to get tossed into the mix is the newly outted Huawei U8230.

Stick around folks, the phone floodgate is about to be opened.  Don’t worry though – we’ll be here to help you wade through everything and make the informed decisions.
