SuperHERO Rom on G1/Dream [VIDEO]

hd_blogitThe user interface/experience of HTC's Hero is a definite thing of beauty.  Formerly known as Rosie, HTC's Sense has people all over saying that Android is showing extreme promise when it comes to just how customizable it can be.  The hot question among G1 owners is "Can I get that for my phone?"

The short answer is no and it's because of the "with Google" that appears on the back of the G1 and myTouch 3G.  HTC's experience is not the same as the Google experience that comes loaded on T-Mobile's handsets.  That is of course, if you play by the rules.  You can always root and flash your phone with other ROMs including the new SuperHERO which is making its way around the net.  It does take some work, but it might be worth it to you to give it a try.

The guys at HDblog.it passed along a great video that shows how Sense looks and feels on the HTC Dream/G1.  Even though the specs are relatively the same as the Hero, it's the extra memory that really helps speed things along.  According to them, it's sluggish and susceptible to crashes.  Still, if tinkering is your bag, it can be done
