One of the guys from CoolSmartPhone was able to get a demo model of the HTC Hero to play with over the course of a week.  The video below is the first day of playing with the phone, from the moment he takes it out of the box.  He finds the touch screen quick and responsive and feels like the Sense UI feels very familiar out of the box.  He’s been using Touch Flo 3D for a while, so that has to help.

There’s not too much detail in the video other than seeing what comes out of the box and some very basic usage.  Day 2 and beyond promise more in-depth focus, so keep an eye out for that!  And yes, just like the guy says in the video – The HTC Hero is a bit more interesting than rabbits.
