Digging up the LG GW620 “Eve” Handset
Of all the founding handset makers in the Open Handset Alliance, none has been keeping their plans under wraps better than LG. Up until now, we’ve heard nothing officially from their camp in regards to upcoming handsets. In fact, the only thing we could scrape together was the recent outing of a GW620 from a mention in the WiFi Alliance.
The guys at NieuweMobiel.NL have done serious digging around and come up with more specs for the LG GW620. The handset is presumed to be their first Android-based phone. An XML file found within one of LG’s websites offers up a few details.
Among the newly discovered specs:
- QWERTY keyboard
- 320 x 480 Display
- MIDI, WAV, MP3, WMA, M4A
- WMV, MPEG4, H.264, ASF, 3GP
- HSDPA, UMTS, GPRS
- SyncML support
