Expansys Outs Sony Ericsson Rachael as Xperia 3,

xperia_3_androidThe Sony Ericsson Rachael handset has become all but official now, thanks to Expansys.  Somehow the web retailer puts phones up for pre-order before the handset makers even go public with announcements.  They've done it again, outting the Rachael as the Xperia 3 handset.

Not only are we learning of the phone's name, but most of the specs are now known.

  • 4" 800x400 touch screen
  • Quad-Band 850/900/1800/1900
  • HSDPA (10Mbps), HSUPA (2Mbps)
  • Camera: 8.1 megapixels, w/auto-focus, 8X digital zoom, LED flash, smile shutter, face detection, and image stabilization
  • VGA Video Recording
  • E-mail (POP3, SMTP, IMAP4, MS Exchange)
  • microSDHC
  • miniUSB
  • 3.5mm AV connector
  • Bluetooth (2.1)
  • Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11g)
  • AGPS

We don't know what kind of memory the phone has yet, nor do we know exactly what processor speed is.  However, if the rumors prove to be true, we could see upwards of 1GHz.

Thanks to all of you who sent this in!
