Say Hello to the Motorola “Sholes” [UPDATE]
Today finds us learning of a new Motorola handset, rumored to be headed to Verizon as early as October. Called “Sholes”, it’s a slide out QWERTY with a touch of class.
Thanks to the guys at Motofan.ru, we get a couple of high resolution pictures and a nice chunk of specs on the side. It’s definitely doesn’t appear to be cut from the same mold as the Morrison. If you were worried that they only wanted to grab the low end of the handset spectrum, you can now breathe a little easier.
So far, here are the specs rumored to be coming on the Motorola Sholes:
- 3.7-inch (480 x 854) touchscreen
- 512MB storage, 256MB RAM
- microSD / microSDHC up to 16 GB (an 8GB microSD ships with the phone)
- 5 megapixel camera w/autofocus
- GPS, USB, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi)
- CDMA and EVDO Rev A
PhoneArena provided us with another photo. This one comes in the larger, blurrier form with slight color changes. Looks more Verizon to us with that red.
