  • Cliq Girl

You guys should spend more time with the Cliq before you start talking about it on the podcast. You said a couple of things that aren't true. 1) The phone WILL go into landscape mode with the keyboard closed. 2) The story about the longpress of the home button taking you to the Android Market rather than app switching is an individual device bug. Longpress of the home button does take you to the app switching.

You can take the MotoBlur off the home page, it's just a widget.

I really like the keyboard on the Cliq. I think that the D-Pad is a waste of space and I only wish it wasn't included, leaving more area for the keyboard. My only other gripes with the Cliq are that it is heavy, and the battery dies really fast. You guys didn't talk about that at all. Additionally, I would like to know if the poor battery life is from MotoBlur or just regular android, or whether there are some settings you could use to get it to last longer. For me, it barely lasts a day and if I turn on GPS or WiFi at any point during the day, it won't make it.
