I found the best site for the new Droids - Wirefly's site Friends and Family - it is not hidden very well and can be found at www.wireflyfriends.com - they have the Motorola Droid for $99.99 and the Eris for Free - not bad deals

How much room does it have for applications? Is it also 512 MB Flash like the Moto Droid?

Also, isn't calling the Moto handset just Droid and this one Droid Eris going to cause a lot of customer confusion? Seems like a bad idea to me.

Price is $299.99 less $100 rebate...leaving the price at $199.99 with Verizon Wireless. See droiddoes.com to verify (1) the price on the bottom left hand side of screen. As a Verizon customer, I called *611 to verify pricing & rebates, to assure I know what to expect... The $199.99 on the screen has already allotted for the $100 rebate!
