Wanna Write For AndroidGuys?
There’s no denying it. The interest in Android is growing by the day. This time last year we were able to keep up with nearly every single Android story to hit the wires. Today finds us picking and choosing what to report, often leaving otherwise relevant Android news on the cutting room floor. Oh the dilemma!
Even though we have an awesome team here at AndroidGuys we’re putting the call out for more help! So here’s your chance. If you’re looking to cut your teeth on one of the largest Android sites on the internet, we wanna hear from you. Maybe you already run a blog but feel like chipping in with an occasional piece for us. Perhaps you’ve thought about doing your own site but gave up on it for one reason or another. Want some online journalism practice? Whatever the case is, we’d like to hear from you!
We’re considering interns for both AndroidGuys as well as our project-in-the-works ‘AndroidGals’. In addition to beefing up our news team here, we’re going to be launching this partner site tailored around the female Android perspective.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- A fairly solid background with Android
- Owning an Android device is preferential
- Previous writing experience is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with WordPress or other blogging tools is a bonus
- Desire to be part of a team
- Dedication and flexibility
Here’s what you’ll do for us:
- Researching and writing Android-related news
- Writing occasional opinion/editorial pieces
- Supporting other AndroidGuys staff members
We’re essentially looking for people who want to be part of something that’s growing bigger by the day. Will you get paid? Kinda sorta. If you’re in it strictly for the money, then we ask that you don’t even bother. None of us here have quit our day jobs yet. If you are interested in writing for us, then please take a few minutes to tell us about yourself here.
NOTE: We will not respond to emails regarding the positions. You must fill out the form!
