XPERIA X10 Launching on T-Mobile USA?

Screen-shot-2009-12-20-at-7.30.16-AM-2

Our friends over at Boy Genius Report are reporting some very exciting news.  According to the XPERIA X10 user manual which was leaked earlier this week through the FCC,  page 3 of the document(see photo above) details usage of 3G Bands 1, 4, and 8! In other words, these are the same 3G AWS bands used by T-Mobile USA!  It’s starting to look like T-Mobile USA  just might get one of the hottest phones of early 2010.  Go T-Mo!

I was looking this same thing and a few people directed me to Sony's site where it says this "Networks UMTS HSPA 800/850/1900 only available for phones sold in Americas (except Brazil) and Australia. UMTS HSPA 900/1700 not available for phones sold in Americas. UMTS HSPA 1900/2100 available worldwide."

Now if there was anything I'm missing then I'd love to be wrong about this.

That's whats up. Now one question remains……

XPERIA X10 or The Nexus One or HTC Bravo?

It's a win, win, win situation.

Xperia X10 looks the bomb! As soon as SE commit to Android 2.0+ I'm there!
I think the Legend from HTC also looks pretty good. Nexus still looks 3 years ago, no style outside the UI.

As excited as I would be, let's not get our hopes up. The N900 has T-Mo 3G bands as well.

  • nokia stinks

n900 is a joke. i have it i hate it. no nav, no google maps(browser and small and gay) no dedicated apps. If you arent on wifi, the browser is a joke. Nokia fails again.

    Hi,
It sounds like a wet dream on paper: Android, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, awesome 8MP camera, massive 800×480 display and a very pretty interface. I know now.

I'm not going to get my hopes up again, just to see T-mo drop the ball….again. I'll stick with my unlocked G1 on AT&T(thogh I am loathe to do so) until something concrete is found.
