TripIt Releases Android App to Organize Travel Plans

Following the huge success of their popular application for the IPhone, the travel site TripIt has released an application for Android. The app is free and can be found in the Android Market, but requires users to sign up for a free account on TripIt.com to actually use it.  The app will provide Android users access to names of airlines, hotels, or other locations that are included with travel plans.  Personally, I think TripIt is a great site and can’t wait to get this on my phone as I am going to overseas very soon.  If you get a chance to use it let us know what you think.

Wow, you guys are morons. This app has been out for at least a month. I have had it since I got my phone a month ago. Way to be the last site to cover everything.

I've used this on several trips already with my Droid. It works quite well for for general information (free version). I have United send me SMS messages for real-time flight info, so haven't felt the need to upgrade. It does a great job of keeping everything in one place. –Bill

Without the 'moron' comment, I would have to agree with 'Guest' above. I have been using this for over a month. If you travel more than once or twice a year this site is invaluable. I have a Pro account and I get better updates on flights than the gate agents sitting in the airport!!!
