Vodafone UK Showing Nexus One “Coming Soon”
Back when the Nexus One was launched, the Google store listed a placeholder for Vodafone and Verizon with a “Spring 2010″ launch. With the season technically kicking off next Saturday, Vodafone appears to be getting ready to offer the HTC super phone. The carrier’s website now lists the handset as “coming soon” which has us wondering whether or not they’ll offer it through their own channel in addition to Google’s. We’ve recently heard similar things about Verizon so we’d not be surprised. Then again, how else will Google get their store built out and start changing buying habits if they are only another option instead of the option?
Thanks for the heads up Martin!
