LG Opens Micro-Site for Ally

LG has finally flipped the switch on their Ally micro-site, letting users get a sense for what the phone has in store for us.  The specs read like this: Android 2.1, 3.2-inch touch screen, WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth.  Of course, we still have to wait for the meat and potatoes like processor and memory but it’s nice to see just a little bit more about the Ally. We’ll likely hear the heavy details at next week’s event in New York.

Be sure to head to lg.com/ally or lgim2.com and play around with the phone and site!

As far as preloaded or featured apps, the website lists nine:

  • Yelp
  • ShopSavy
  • Wertago
  • Shazam
  • FourSquare
  • Wikitude
  • Speed View
  • Life360
  • Hoccer

I love, Love, LOVE that this phone is rocking Vanilla 2.1 and not a bolt on custom UI! Love it!

I love the qwerty, and the stock UI…. but I don't like the 3.2" screen (seriously, when everyone else is releasing 3.7", and 4.1" screens) nor do I like the fact it doesn't have a front camera…. and it is a bit chubby too…

    But the qwerty looks fantastic.
