Tag, Create, and Share Your World with Tagwhat

Colorado-based Tagwhat has just launched their new augmented reality app/service/experience for Android. Using the free application, users can place digital tags anywhere and everywhere. Want to share a great deal on the patio furniture you just scored? Take a picture, tag it, and share it! Friends and followers can check your digital breadcrumbs from their phone or the Tagwhat website.

Tagwhat users can opt to follow people, companies, and causes. Once you follow someone, their experience merges with yours. Starting off, Tagwhat also provides four channels (Eat, Drink, Wikipedia, and Foursquare) for added experience.

Channel and advertising potential for the Tagwhat network is virtually endless for retail, real estate, education and information, entertainment, premium gaming… Shops can deliver special deals to nearby customers; universities can offer tours and educational information to visitors and students. - press release
