EVO 4G Passes Through FCC; Release Imminent

Engadget has managed to catch the EVO 4G passing through the halls of the FCC.  The device was branded as PC36100 and sports Sprint’s 2500MHz WiMAX band, in addition to Sprint’s usual CDMA bands.

Now that we know the device is ready to roll, it’s only a matter of time till it’s released. We learned, last week, that Sprint employees have already begun training in preparation for the EVO’s arrival. Now, all we can do is wait. The table is set, the food‘s in the oven, and the entire Android world is holding its forks and knives waiting for the timer to ding.
