Rumor: T-Mobile myTouch 3G to Get Sense-Flavored 2.1
Here’s one we missed last week… Techland is reporting that the refreshed myTouch 3G from T-Mobile will see Android 2.1 once testing is finished. Techland’s Peter Ha interviewed Andrew Sherrard, the VP of Production Innovation for T-Mobile, who indicated that the handset will also see the UI change from plain vanilla Android to one that looks and feels like the experience found on the forthcoming myTouch 3G Slide. In other words, it will be HTC’s Sense UI and not stock Android. No word was given as to time frame but you can be sure we’ll pass it along once we hear.
