Lenovo LePhone Unboxing

The handset pictured to the left is none other than the Lenovo LePhone that is being released in China.  A full review was found online from some lucky guys in China who got their hands on the phone early.

There have been some changes since the phone was announced at CES, namely that the screen has been updated from a LCD to AMOLED.  There’s also the addition of a gesture area below the screen, similar to the Palm Pre.

The review walks through all the features of the phone with a heavily customized flavor of Android highly tied into Chinese social networking functions.  Round that out with some great media apps and, in Engadget’s words, an impressive Chinese turn by turn navigation suite.

This handset is set to drop in China this May.  End on over to Engadget to learn more about the LePhone.
