So wait…it's $229 on contract? Holy price hike. Bit pricey for midrange hardware.

Yeah I think I'm going to get an Evo – my contract runs out next month.

I AM! I’m so excited. It really is a fair price due to the fact that it has 2.1! I can’t wait to get my hands on it!

I am counting down the days until this releases. I am very excited.

Me too, I'm picking up 3 of them, for my wife, son and myself, cant wait. even though I want a superphone for myself, I just don't have the patience to wait anymore, and I really don't have much to complain about my my touch, some times it slowed down, no flash, but the slide should fix all that, so I'm a happy camper, my wife has a blackberry and she doesn't even bother surfing the web on her BB, she absolutely hates it and my son has a G1, I can safely say we will all be happy with the slide.

I am so tired of my g-1, but this is just a crappy my-touch with a slider keyboard. as something that can really compete with the droids, and all phones drop this year? way of eating sand race Android T-Mobile.
