NYMag.com app Debuts in Android Market

NYMag.com, the online version of New York magazine, has launched their first Android application featuring content from their five popular blogs. Fans of Daily Intel (news), Vulture (entertainment), The Cut, (fashion), Grub Street (food), and The Sports Section will be happy to see all five presented in one central location. The free title works on all phones running Android 1.6 and above. Thefree app is available on all mobile devices running Android version 1.6 or higher, from the Android marketplace.

The ten most recent articles from each blog are shown with headlines and thumbnail images and are separated by tabs across the top. A desktop widget updates every 15 minutes refreshing with the latest news. Those of you who spend a lot of time in a subway or on airplanes will enjoy the offline reading capability of NYMag.com. Each time the app loads a post, it loads the entire content and not just headlines. NYMag.com allows for five days of content storage, providing plenty to read!
