Dell Streak Launching Next Month for $500 Unlocked

Just now, at D8, Dell announced that they will be launching the Dell Streak direct from their website for $500 unlocked. No word on carrier compatibility yet, but I am betting both a T-Mobile and AT&T version will be available at launch as we saw Dell devices fitting the Streak’s description approved by the FCC with corresponding 3G bands earlier this year. More on this as it develops! Make sure to keep an eye on this post for updates!

What is the point in announcing a phone if Dell doesn't tell people which carriers it is going to work with? It does sound great, but they really are foolhardy to not get 2.2 kicking butt on it first!
