More Samsung Tablet Details Trickle Out
The more we hear about the upcoming Samsung tablet, the more we like it. Previously known as the Tab, Vietnamese site Tinhte (translated) is now referring to it as the Tape. Poor name aside the tablet is shaping up to be our most desired device yet. Check out the rumored hardware for this baby… We’re talking Android 2.2 “Froyo”, an A8 1.2GHz processor, 16GB of internal storage, and microSD expansion for up to another 32GB. The 7-inch version is said to have a Super AMOLED screen, a 4,000mAh battery and weigh around 370grams. For now, we’ll assume the 8″ and 10″ models will still have a high-res TFT screen.
South Korea and South Africa are among the first regions slated to receive (Q3) the Tab/Tape but we’re really pulling for a US version.
