US Cellular Confirms Acclaim for July 9

The nation’s sixth largest wireless provider, US Cellular, confirmed via Facebook that they will be offering the Samsung Acclaim next month.  We’re still unclear as to the full details of the phone itself but we do know it’s powered by Android 2.1 and features a 3.2-inch screen with a sliding QWERTY underneath.  All signs point to a mid-range Moment-like device.

It’s official! The Android-powered Samsung Acclaim is arriving in stores July 9, 2010!
