Rumor: Minor Update Hitting EVO 4G Next Week

Those of you who have an EVO 4G are advised to keep your eyes peeled for a minor update next week.  Sorry guys and gals, it’s not a Froyo rollout.  Rumored for the 28th, it will address three components. A Boy Genius Report source indicates the following are slated for a tweak next week:

  • Improvements to Wi-Fi performance
  • Exchange Active Sync improvements which include a fix to issue including new account set up, PIN policy usage, and Exchange Server 2010 Calendar Sync
  • Addresses Social Networking Sync issue with Facebook application which can improve battery performance
