New AdMob Report Shows Android Now Holds 33% Market Share in North America
AdMob has just released their May 2010 Mobile Metrics Report, and the results are extremely impressive for the Android OS. The stats (which are from May 2010, not June) put Android at a 33% share in North America, with iOS holding on to their 54% share. This is good news for Android fanboys (and fangirls), however, it will be interesting to see how the iPhone 4 launch in June affects these statistics. On our side of the battle we have the Droid Incredible, Droid X, EVO 4G, and a host of Samsung Galaxy S phones to look forward too, as well. It should also be noted that Android has also overtaken Symbian as the #2 mobile OS according to the AdMob stats. To see the full report, click here!

I've been an Android fanboy since day one, but I've never had a chance to truly express my voice and be a part of the Android Community. When AndroidGuys starting accepting applications for interns, i saw my opportunity. I joined the AndroidGuys team and haven't looked back!
