Samsung Galaxy Naos and Galaxy Teos Launching in Europe Later This Year has gained info on 2 new Android devices launching in France later this year. They are the Samsung Galaxy Naos and the Galaxy Teos, the apparent successors to the Samsung Galaxy Spica.  They are both rumored to be launching with Touch Wiz 3.0.

The Naos is headed to Orange France for around 1 euro on selective contracts, while the Teos is going to “other operators”, with no word on pricing or release dates.  Both devices are running Android 2.1, both have 3.2-inch WQVGA 240×400 capacitive touchscreens,WiFi, HSDPA connectivity, MicroSD card slot, a 3 megapixel camera, aGPS, and a 1500 mAH battery.  Overall, they are very solid entry level devices.

So, what does this mean for Samsung lovers in France? Well, it means you’re about to be blown away by Sammy’s new phones.  As always we will try to keep you informed of any price changes or release dates as they become available.

Anyone considering buying any of these?

  • its really nice ……………should go ahead………….

  • The display’s resolution is 240 x 400, compared to the Spica’s 320 x 480. It is true though that this new resolution makes these phones less wide than the Spica, and this might translate into easier one-handed use.

  • Galaxy Naos will sell for one euro on selected contracts and will be available in black and white versions. I’d expect a similar price point for the Teos as well. Don’t be surprised if we see one of these two designs arrive north of the border later this year either
