Rumor: HTC Desire HD Coming this Fall
We're barely a month removed from the release of the EVO 4G so that means it's time to look down the road at HTC's plans. According to a few rumors hitting the internet today, the handset maker is prepping a follow-up to their much loved Desire. Called the HTC Ace or Desire HD, it sounds like we could be getting a mashup of the Legend and EVO later this fall.
Rumored specs include a 1GHz processor, an 8-megapixel camera with HD video recording, and 4GB memory. Other goodies include Xvid playback, SRS surround sound, and automatic face tracking. Being that this is said to run Android 2.2, Adobe Flash 10 support is also expected. Oh, I almost forgot! The form factor is listed as uni-body aluminum design. Sexy!
Of course, HTC has yet to confirm the phone, let alone make any announcements. Rest assured that we'll be more than happy to pass the details along once they are unearthed.
