Verizon to Push Froyo to the Droid Next Week!

In an email communication from a Verizon analyst in Corporate Communications named Albert Aydin, we received the following message:

I just wanted to share with you that Verizon Wireless will push Froyo, Android 2.2, to the Droid by Motorola (introduced November 2009) next week.

This came to our inbox just a few minutes ago, confirming all the rumors that we have heard talking about the Froyo push from Verizon.

On a side note, this coincides with our own Aaron Kasten on the AGTN Podcast, who during our Summer Extravaganza dropped that the Droid would be the first Verizon phone to get Froyo officially.

Droid owners, rejoice!

    I still don’t have the update…..I’m not patient anymore. I placed a tech support email last week and didn’t even get a response.
