Teaser Site for R2-D2 Edition Droid 2 Goes Live, @DroidLanding Resurfaces

Verizon has opened up a teaser site for the R2-D2 flavored version of the finally-announced Droid 2.  With nothing more than an outline image of our favorite Astromech glowing in Droid red, we’re told to follow Artoo on twitter.  And just like that, DroidLanding has become useful once again!  The site, which is also mobile friendly, promises videos, apps, artwork, and much more.  My gut tells me we’re looking at a staggered rollout of goodies until the little guy is available.  For what it’s worth, I know I’d love the chance to hunt down more Droids in the real world.  Wouldn’t you?
