More HTC Codenames to Watch For

I don’t know about the rest of my AndroidGuys staff, but I love to hear of new codenames for handsets.  Call me whatever you want, but there’s just something cool about project names and rumored phones.  You can imagine my joy when I found four new HTC names in my inbox this morning.  It’s time to put the following on your radar: HTC Speedy, HTC Blitz (CDMA), HTC Mecha, and HTC Spade.  At this point, none of them have release dates or time frames associated with them, so if you have anything to share in regards to these, please hit us up on the contact page.

I can add that all these devices will have at least a WVGA screen.

Could some of these be Windows Phone 7 handsets? HTC makes lots of those, too, and it’s hard to tell by codename alone.

It may be better if HTC names them Desire II, Wildfire II etc…
