Samsung Tab Poses for Non-Blurry Pics

While we wait for an official announcement from Samsung on their GT-P1000 Galaxy Tab, we’re more than content to look at pictures of the device.  Take a look at the latest gallery of images showing the device in its non-blurry glory.  Chinese website ifanr grabbed a total of seven pics of the Android 2.2 unit that is rumored to feature a 1024×600 resolution screen, a 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS, 3G, 802.11 b,g,n, and a PowerVR SGX 540 graphics processor. We can also see what appears to be a 30-pin adapter, similar to the iPad and Dell Streak. Be sure to hit up ifanr (translated) for the rest of the pictures.

The tablet looks pretty spectacular but whats up with that non-standard dock/usb/power cable? I thought I was buying an Android tablet not an ipod touch. Thats a deal breaker for me as I all ready have to deal with mini and micro usb cables. I don’t need to be stuck in a situation where I can’t get power to my device because I forgot to grab the special cable.

Isn’t that the HTC ime keyboard? Kind of odd seeing that on it.

I think Brock just stated it perfectly clear. I myself left micro-USB cables all over the place: at home, in the office, at my parents’ and friends’ houses. Just to be able to leech power whenever necessary, wherever necessary.
I now hope the announced: “One charger for all mobile devices”-directive most manufacturers (even Apple!) agreed to uphold, will make for an European model of the Tab WITH a micro-USB connector.
