Rumor: Droid Incredible Froyo OTA Hitting September 1st (Here We Go Again!)
Here we go again! According to the folks over at Droid-Life, “sources” are indicating* that the official Froyo update will begin hitting handsets on September 1st. Put this under the heading of “strictly rumor” for now though folks, however I really do hope Froyo goodness gets here soon!
Along with Froyo, users should also expect to get 720p HD video recording and a new boot screen. Obviously at this point, this is just a rumor, so I am not taking anything as 100% fact until I see Froyo on actual Droid Incredible handsets. When this happens to mine, I will post so all of you know.
*EDITOR NOTE: In the interim between scheduling this post and the publish time, we recognize that Droid Life is reporting the update may not be happening September 1st.
