Alcatel’s Low Cost OT-980 Announced

Starting in October, our friends in the UK can enjoy Alcatel’s first Android phone being available through Carphone Warehouse for £99.95. According to techradar, this new Android phone will be running Eclair 2.1, sport a 2.8″ display, and a 2MP camera.  For those wondering, it seems that this is going to be Alcatel’s new flagship phone and will be available on a Pay-As-You-Go plan.

Any UK Android fans interested in getting this or is this just a toy that isn’t worth your time? Let us know!
