AT&T Adds to Android Arsenal with Trio of Motorola Devices – Bravo, Flipside, and Flipout
AT&T has announced three new Android handsets today, each coming from Motorola. Dubbed the Flipout, Bravo, and Flipside, they are each Android 2.1 phones with the latest release of MOTOBLUR user experience. And keeping with Motorola’s track record, the phones carry unique form factors not found on other carriers. In a move that is sure to attract new users, these Android phones are not going to break your piggy bank, ranging from $79.99 to $129.99. Once these arrive, AT&T will have eight Android devices to for customers to choose from. Not too shabby!
Quick Reference: The Flipout hides a full five-row QWERTY keyboard underneath the touch screen which reveals itself when the swivel hinge is opened. Details include 720MHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM, a 3-megapixel camera and a 2GB microSD card. The Bravo is the beefiest device, running 800MHz with a 3.7-inch full WVGA touch screen, 3-megapixel camera, 512MB RAM, 2GB ROM, and 2 GB microSD card. The Flipside has a slide-out QWERTY with a 3.1-inch high-resolution HVGA display and a laptop-like trackpad.
