Motorola and Verizon have been very busy this year, pumping out one powerful Droid iteration after another.  While some are new models like the Droid Pro, others are special versions of previous releases such as the R2D2 edition of the Droid 2.  According to Phone Arena, the two are working on a re-jiggered Droid X.  Dubbed the Droid X SE (Special Edition), the phone is said to jump from 1GHz to the same 1.2GHz chip coming from the Droid 2 Global later this year.  It’s also said that the device will shed the all-black aesthetics and feature a silver bezel (as seen above.

I am an avid Droid-X fan! This article definately caught my attention. However, they arent going to double up on cpu’s to match the iphone 5? The iphone 5 is coming out very soon and will have two 1.2ghz processors. I pray to the lord that the droid-x does the same.
Pshh forget these 200mhz increases! Save the future some time and just throw in a sixcore right now!
