Goodies Extracted from Leaked myTouch ROM – Wallpapers, Promo Videos, and Yahoo Video Chat

It didn’t take long for some of you to dig through the myTouch ROM we broke yesterday.  One of Android Central’s writers, Jerry Hildenbrand, pulled quite a bit out of the 311MB file and was only too kind to share it over on their forums.  If you are interested in checking out a few wallpapers, themes and a myTouch promo video, then you’ll want to sign up for an account.

An XDA forum member named matthewjulian was able to extract the Yahoo Chat application and post it online.  What’s so special about the Yahoo client?  Video chat!  Apparently it works better than Tango, Qik, and Fring so we recommend you try it out if you’re into video calls.  Keep ripping through the files to see what else might be hiding in there.  If ya find something cool, share it!

We already have it, but it doesn’t work. I have tried it 50 different ways to no avail. We are just going to have to wait for T-mobile on this one or if someone gets a hold of the G2 file.
