Verizon Rumored to Drop Samsung Continuum, LG Vortex on October 29

According to sources at Droid Life, Verizon is set to launch two new Android handsets next Friday, October 29th.  Should their intel prove correct, we should expect a press release from Verizon any moment.  I wouldn’t be surprised to see something sent out tomorrow to allow for a week’s notice.  As a refresher, the LG Vortex is a touch-only device with 600 Mhz CPU, Android 2.2, a 3.2-inch display, and support for GPS, Bluetooth, and FM Radio.  The Samsung Continuum, on the other hand, is the dual-screen guy with a “Ticker” across the bottom for reading alerts, news, and weather.
